N.T. Wright is a leading English New Testament scholar, Pauline theologian, and retired Anglican bishop. He is published as N. T. Wright in academia but is also known as Tom Wright. Between 2003 and his retirement in 2010, he was the Bishop of Durham. He then became a Research Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at St Mary's College at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
