A. No. The course is designed as a compliment to a therapeutic process. It’s foundational education that equips you for therapy and for daily life. Many choose Course 1 before or alongside counseling. The group Zoom meetings are designed to discuss curriculum related questions - not personal therapeutic questions.
A. No. This curriculum is designed for all survivors of severe childhood trauma, regardless of spiritual background. While we affirm the inherent worth of every person, we keep Scripture use minimal and focus on trauma-informed, practical tools for healing.
A. You are welcome. We’ll meet you with respect, clarity, and compassion.
A. No. Instead of exams, you’ll learn through collaborative experiences, self-assessment, and applying wholehearted living.
A. Course 1 includes 61 lessons across 12 modules, student group meet-ups, as well as one monthly call with us. The more you engage, the more you’ll gain.
A. It’s self-paced with one year of access. Student groups explore insights and activities; monthly calls with us add deeper knowledge, role-play, and real-life stories from our 20 years of counseling.
A. You’ll join a small group that meets on Zoom to discuss lesson reflections (not personal processing). A monthly one-hour Zoom session with our collective student body and team is held the 2nd Wednesday, and will dive deeper into course topics. Recordings are available if you miss one.
A. Yes. This course works well for small groups, families, nonprofits, or churches. Group licensing is available for 5+ students.
A. Course 1 is the foundation. It builds the shared language and mindset everything else depends on. Even if topics feel familiar, our unique approach adds depth and context you’ll need for later courses.
A. If you miss a monthly meeting, it will be recorded and you can watch it at your leisure.
